Four structures in one

Our great strength, 4 environments adapted
to each member of this big family.

For our students, the mastery of several languages is a guarantee of openness to the world and represents a decisive factor for social and professional integration.

One of our school’s strengths is the practice of several languages (French, Spanish, Basque, and English from the early childhood stage) taught by native or expert teachers, in order to better prepare them for their future lives as global citizens.

It is also a school open to the world: reading literature, visiting museums, shows (cinema, theater, concerts, etc.), excursions, school trips enrich the way of learning and prepare our students for the construction of their own culture.

A single cycle, essential for all to achieve the objectives - Cycle 1

Kindergarten is the first and fundamental stage to ensure that all students achieve the objectives. This period of schooling lays the educational and pedagogical foundations on which students’ future learning will be based throughout their schooling.

The French School offers a caring environment and encourages children to go to school to learn, assert themselves and develop their personalities.

In Infantil, your child learns to talk to adults and other children. He draws, sings, dances, plays, counts, talks, listens, invents and discovers books and the basics of writing that will prepare him for elementary school.

Kindergarten children evolve within infrastructures adapted to stimulate their curiosity. Motor skills classrooms, outdoor spaces, school canteens with adapted menus… The kindergarten areas meet their needs for play, movement, rest and discovery, and offer many opportunities for sensory, motor, relational and cognitive experiences in complete safety.

Secondary school - cycle 4

The education provided in elementary school enables the acquisition of the fundamental tools of knowledge: oral and written expression, reading, arithmetic and problem solving, and fosters intellectual development, artistic sensitivity, manual skills, physical aptitudes and sports. It guarantees the acquisition and understanding of the respect due to people, whatever their origins and differences.

It also conveys the need to respect children’s rights and gender equality. In primary school, students learn French, English, Spanish and Basque, art, music, physical education, education in values, science and technology, history-geography and mathematics.

Each of these subjects is taught in such a way that students master not only the basic knowledge but also the methodology to improve and engage in their learning. They also develop strategies to express critical thinking, a point of view or an emotion, they are taught how to follow rules and be responsible, how to adapt to different environments, how to work individually or in teams to achieve certain goals.

Secondary school - cycle 4

In the cycle from the 1st year of E.S.O (5ème) to the 3rd year of E.S.O (3ème), your child learns to be more autonomous in his or her work. At the end of the 3ème course, an orientation procedure will allow your child to continue his or her studies at the Lycée according to his or her aptitudes, his or her wishes and the will of his or her parents.

In the last year of secondary school, students take a national exam to obtain the Diplôme National du Brevet (DNB) and must validate the 8 components of the common base of knowledge, skills and culture.

The Lycée is an examination center for the Diplôme National du Brevet (DNB).

The Baccalaureate stage is divided into two cycles: the determination cycle (4th of E.S.O./2nde), and the final cycle (1st and 2nd of Baccalaureate/1ère and Terminale) which is validated by obtaining the “Baccalauréat général”. Once again this year, 100% of our students obtained the Baccalauréat degree.

The French system offers students a solid education with the objective of successfully completing the baccalaureate, but also to guarantee them access to higher education under optimal conditions, in accordance with their personal projects.

Our team dedicated to the orientation of our future graduates accompanies students around the world in their future projects. They study at the best universities as well as at the best international schools.
