Welcome to the Lycée français of Bilbao

Founded in 1933, the Lycée Français de Bilbao welcomes students of all nationalities from the age of two, with the ambition and desire to provide them with a quality education with an international dimension. Our school project is based on the values of listening, generosity and personalized attention, in order to ensure the success of all our students, while equipping them with the ability to understand and cope in a rapidly changing world.

Belonging to a unique network of 600 schools in 139 countries, the Lycée Français de Bilbao teaches the French curriculum and awards the French Brevet and Baccalauréat diplomas, with the possibility of supplementing it with enhanced language programs, through European and international options.

From the earliest age, nursery and primary schools offer an ideal school environment to foster and develop the pleasure of learning in complete safety and confidence. We offer all our students a solid education in foreign languages, with the aim of fostering intercultural links. In secondary and high school, we prioritize a high level of general education and train future citizens who are committed, eco-responsible, sensitive to the need to protect the environment, capable of critical thinking, open-minded and intellectually autonomous.
