School transportation
The Lycée Français de Bilbao has a very extensive school transport service.We have been working since our beginnings with a transport company that assures this service under strict measures of legality and security.
We have 11 bus lines in two different schedules, shift 1 for high school students and those who need the early bird classroom and shift 2 for elementary and kindergarten students and those who stay for extracurricular activities.
Both shifts cover the Greater Bilbao area, from Getxo to Gorliz and several towns on the Left Bank, reaching as far as Castro.
Each school year we review our routes, stops and services provided by meeting in the transportation committee formed by the management team, parent representatives and the bus company who listen to the needs, evaluate them, modify routes and add stops according to the possibilities.
We understand this service as a service that helps families in their daily lives, so we are particularly sensitive to requests and as flexible as we can be, with the safety of the children as a priority. Requests for route changes will be possible as long as we are notified in writing (with a note in your child’s notebook or by email at secretariat@lyceefrancaisbilbao.net) a day before at the latest.
