Our community
The educational community of the Lycée Français de Bilbao aims to foster an inclusive, collaborative and respectful learning environment, where all members -students, teachers, staff and families- work together to achieve common goals. We seek to promote the integral development of students, not only in academics, but also in their values, social and emotional skills. In addition, it focuses on creating spaces for dialogue and active participation, promoting respect for diversity and critical thinking. In this way, the educational community contributes to the formation of responsible citizens committed to their environment and well-being.
Our educational work is also supported by public and private institutions and entities that help us to offer quality education that is fully connected to society.
AFA

The AFA is a non-profit association that brings together the families of students at the Lycée Français de Bilbao. The AFA maintains regular exchanges with the school’s administration and represents the voice of each family in all matters related to their children’s education at the school.
The AFA’s decision-making body is its Board of Directors, composed of a president, vice president, treasurer, secretary, and board members. This Board is elected every four years at the General Assembly.

of Families
Escuela de familias is a joint initiative of the APA and the Lycée français de Bilbao, which aims to support families through awareness activities led by professional experts in different fields, on issues related to the education and development of their children at different school stages.
