As a member of the pedagogical team, she contributes to preventing and addressing the difficulties encountered by students in order to improve their school success.
Its main functions:
- It mobilizes its professional skills in the service of students in favor of psychological well-being and socialization.
- She advises and reinforces the teaching staff in the development of prevention and assistance devices, especially in the treatment of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and in conflict resolution.
- It constitutes a resource and a support for teachers in the relationships and interviews with the families of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Conducts observations, may conduct interviews with the child and make reports (with the consent of the families), analyzes and interprets the data collected.
- Maintains close contact with external psycho-pedagogical centers and specialists.
- Participate in the life of the center as well as in prevention projects organized by the school related to the education of values and coexistence.
- It can direct families to a service or specialist outside the school and help, with their consent, to find a response that meets their needs.
