Dear students, dear parents, dear colleagues,
The magic of an exceptional venue, for the duration of a concert! This was the unique experience enjoyed by our 6th-grade classes at the EUSKALDUNA in Bilbao, for the performance of the cantata *LOGELAN LOGALE*, a work composed by Jagoba Astiazaran and Leire Bilbao for orchestra, narrator, and children’s choir. The school’s participation in this wonderful project was initiated by José Luis Ormazabal and Katalin Zarate, and we are very grateful to them. As part of the children’s choir, our students accompanied the Bilbao Symphony Orchestra and the narrator throughout the performance. Through several songs performed entirely in Basque, this performance allowed them to showcase their ability to express themselves fully in one of the four languages of our curriculum, and we are delighted that the Lycée Français was given the opportunity to take part in this project alongside other local schools.
