School transportation
Liceo Francés de Bilbao offers an extensive school transportation service. Since our inception, we have worked with a transport company that guarantees the service while complying with strict legal and safety standards.
We have 11 bus routes operating on two different schedules:
Shift 1: for secondary school students and those who need the early morning care service.
Shift 2: for primary and kindergarten students, as well as those staying for extracurricular activities.
Both shifts cover Greater Bilbao, from Getxo to Gorliz, including several towns on the Left Bank and reaching Castro.
Each academic year, we review our routes, stops, and services by meeting in the Transport Committee, composed of the management team, parent representatives, and the bus company. In these meetings, needs are heard, evaluated, routes are modified, and stops are added based on feasibility.
We understand this service as support for families in their daily lives, which is why we are particularly responsive to their requests and manage it with the greatest possible flexibility, always prioritizing the safety of the children. Route change requests will be possible provided you notify us in writing, either through a note in your child’s notebook or by email to secretariat@lyceefrancaisbilbao.net, at least one day in advance.
