Governing Council
The conseil d'école
It is chaired by the elementary school principal. It is composed of 15 representatives of parents of elementary and kindergarten students. It meets at least once per trimester and always before the “Conseil d’Etablissement”.
It addresses issues related to Primary and Infant school levels, and you can express opinions to clarify the votes of the Conseil d’Etablissement. “Projet d’Établissement” (school project).
The Establishment Council
It is chaired by the Director of the center. It brings together representatives of all members of the school community. At the Lycée Français de Bilbao, 4 parents are members of this council.
It meets at least once per trimester. It is responsible for adopting the “Projet d’Etablissement” (school project), the internal regulations, the timetables and the school calendar for the school year, the annual actions organized within the framework of the various programs (citizenship, health, future and culture), school trips, etc.
It gives its opinion on the opening and closing of posts, the evolution of pedagogical structures, issues related to the reception and information of parents.
You are informed of the annual budget and the balance sheet.
